Following the decision by Cllr Pam Edmunds to step down from the role, Llanelli Town Council have selected Cllr David Darkin to take over as the Llanelli Town Council Representative on the Llanelli Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
David is already the Vice-President and acting Secretary of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce through his activity as a local business owner. The new appointment will allow David to strengthen working relationships between the Chamber and the Town Council who already work together on activities such as the annual Christmas window competition.
“Being the Town Council’s representative on the Chamber is a privilege” said David. “I look forward to being a strong voice for the people of Llanelli Town on the Chamber of Trade and working to help improve business for the town”.
