Last night, I was honoured to welcome the Llanelli Tenovus Choir to the Mayor’s Parlour. The choir is an amazing organisation that provides much needed support to it’s members as well as great entertainment to the people of Llanelli.
Recently, I had the pleasure to see the Tenovus Choir perform at their annual singathon in the St Elli Centre and even joined them on stage for a few numbers. Most recently, the choir performed ‘Say Your Story, Sing Your Story’ at the Ffwrness Theatre. This was a poignant, but uplifting evening, hearing the very personal stories of the choir members and how the choir had helped them. It was an honour to recognise the fantastic work of the choir by inviting the group to a reception at the Mayor’s Parlour. It was also a lot of fun with some Karaoke put on with individual and group songs.
