On Saturday, Llanelli’s diversity was celebrated at a fantastic event in the Selwyn Samuel Centre. The event was organised by the Llanelli Tenants Network for the second time, following great success last year. As Mayor of Llanelli, I was honoured to open the event and welcome everyone the the Selwyn Samuel Centre to celebrate the range of different cultures in our community. We were treated to a variety of entertainers on stage as well as great food from all around the world. My particular highlights were having my face painted at the Korean stall and trying Honey & Chilly Vodka, courtesy of the Ukrainian stall which was certainly memorable.
